Can't connect to bubba2

Post by diavol »

Hi
I have use my bubba for around 2 years now and had never had that problem before.

The problem is that I yesterday mowed bubba to another room in apartment (turned it off with button exactly how I should). Then I connected bubba back in I hope router... mode but i hade some siriosly problem to connect to bubba but i worked for some time.
Now i can't connect to bubba by wifi, LAN port, WAN port or in some other way. I tried on ubuntu, win7 and winXP. Some ideas?

sounds like network issues. You have another router on your network? and you connected Bubba 2 LAN to your router? Try restarting your bubba 2...

Could be your B2 setup as server only perhaps? THen it won't work as router.

so you get an IP from Bubba2, and you can surf through it, but cannot connect directly to it? What happens if you enter it's IP in a browser?

No, I do not get a IP-from bubba2, I get a IP by router. I can surf to bubba2's-IP and change settings and so, but I never get a direct connection to bubba2. Is it some log-files that I should post here?

Sorry but I really don't get this:

If you can surf to bubba 2 and change settings, you do get a direct connection, or?

But in order to connect to bubba directly you need to disconnect bubba from your network (since the PC <-> bubba direct connection is through the LAN port), right? And you also need to have bubba in either "automatic network settings" or "router/firewall" mode in order to make it give your PC an IP adress.

Is this how you do it? THen it should work.

Then it should work. Try restarting both bubba and your PC to make your PC re-request the IP.
