I have just tried to update the software on my Bubba 2, this is the first time of updating since I bought my Bubba 2 in October 2008.
The process didn't seem to work normally with a number of error messages appearing and eventually seemed to hang. Eventually I went back into Update where I get a screen which appears to show the current version as updated ie.
Current package versions
Package name Package version
bubba-frontend 1.2.4.3
bubba-backend 1.2.2.0.8
bubba-album 1.2.0.4
filetransferdaemon 0.50.19+b3
squeezecenter 7.4.1.dfsg1-6
The server appears to be working normally with all files accessible but squeezecenter is no longer available.
Re-running update gives me the message:
Failures found in package (dpkg) database, unable to continue with upgrade.
I have no knowledge of or experience with linux, how can I get Bubba back on track and squeezecentre working?

Further to the above I also now find that I can't get the log in page at all...
selecting admin gives me:

Re: Upgrade fails
Dear hybnio,
Sorry about this, i think this is a known issue with an old software, the upgrade function isn't really compatible with the newer software available. This is possible to solve, but I'll have to ask one of our software guys to guide you through this process.
Please send an email to support@excito.com with this information, and one of either Carl, PA or Tor will help you out.
