SSH seems to be misbehaving on my B3 and won't let anyone log in. I'm thinking it could be some problem with denyhosts, but that has been running for several years without problems; I have tried logging in from multiple different IP addresses but I either get "connection rejected" or "server has disconnected". I need to be able to get in to make some configuration changes to my WAN side, as well as get the SSH sorted out, obviously.
Is there any way to create a terminal session from the LAN side other than SSH (Telnet is not available) ? The GUI is still working fine and I can log in to Horde Webmail.
Would a USB-to-RS232 converter yield a viable serial link without any configuration, for example ? Can the GUI do things I haven't noticed ?
Thanks

Any way to create a terminal session without SSH?
Re: Any way to create a terminal session without SSH?
Not really no
Easiest solution is to create a rescue usb and boot from that, then check out /var/log/secure for problems, and or turn of denyhosts and try again.

I thought that might be the answer; was hoping there was something I'd overlooked.
