Bubba 3 backup jobs doesn't show on timeline

Post by apek »

Hello,

I purchased new Bubba storage few weeks ago and I've tried to make number of different backup jobs to save backup copies to the storage on frequent basis. Adding new backup job goes well and no error messages but when trying to modify the backup jobs they are not visible in "Administration-Backup-Timeline". After following the case couple of weeks it seems that part of the backup jobs (or one at least) actually creates backup files but not all of them. I have two questions:

1) Why backup jobs are not visible in timeline?
2) Where can I find the list of backup jobs from background?

Thanks,
Ari

So the backup jobs that run does not show in the timeline? This is strange, and works as it should here from what I know. What job settings did you use?

Can I find the settings somewhere? Basically I gave name, backup folder (storage\pictures), Protocol local(USB/eSATA), target device = Bubba storage, target directory empty, no encryption.

Strange. Yes, you can find the settings in the config file:

Code: Select all

cat /home/admin/.backup/<job name>/jobdata
Can you send this to me, and I'll try to reproduce the problem? Also you can have a look in the logs to see if you spot anything strange?

Code: Select all

cat /var/log/backup/admin/<job name>
Let me know if you need assistance, we can log on remotely to help you out if you need to. In that case, contact support@excito.com with details.
