Owncloud/ B3 music integration

I am investigating using Owncloud on my B3. The primary use I want owncloud for is the calendering/contacts management, but some of the file syncing options are interesting. For my purposes, using owncloud would cover most of my backup needs. But I have hit one snag. I am working on cleaning up my mp3 collection, so I have near complete copies of the collection on both my laptop and my b3 where I am set for streaming. I currently use a periodic rsync to sync the two collections. Using owncloud to sync the collections would be ideal, but I don't see how. I could have two copies of the collection on the b3, one for streaming and one for backup, but that seems wasteful. Is there a way to use links to either hook /home/storage/music into Owncloud, or have Owncloud's storage accessible to B3s streaming?
