Dear All! I tried several times now to recover my B3 from the USB Stick. On any reason this does not work. I tried 3 different USB Sticks, tried it with the packed and unpacked install folder,... tried almost everyting. Anybody a idea?
By the way, does anybody know a way to use another OS on the B3?

B3 Recovery with USB Stick
Re: B3 Recovery with USB Stick
Hi bsailer,
The problem with the USB boot sticks has been an on-going drama for years.
Have a look at this:
http://wiki.excito.org/wiki/index.php/Usbstick
The Bubbas seem to be very sensitive to how the partition table is written.
I believe Excito even sells pre-formatted, guaranteed-to-work USB sticks.
I have found one that works for me (it is actually a USB HD), and I'm treasuring it and keeping it safe for that reason.
Regarding installing another OS, No, I have never tried it. I don't see much point.
There is code written specifically for the hardware that is only compiled for the OS it comes with.
You would have to get the source from Excito and compile it your self for your target OS.
Best regards,
Cheeseboy
