automatically stop torrent?

Post by canonjon »

Hi

I have on two separate occasions downloaded some torrents and the B3 has frozzen up on me. It seems that some torrents were only uploading and some torrents were downloading and uploading and that was to much for the B3. I am wondering if there is a way to set a upload limit on torrents? When the upload is 100% or 150% of the download the torrent file will stop seeding.

Best Regards

Hi Jon,

Afaik the FTD has not got the functionality you are asking for.
But... Shouldn't you look into the problem of B3 freezing rather than asking about FTD functionality?
Do you know that the FTD caused the problem? Did you look in the log files?
Did you check what process was using up the CPU cycles when it was unresponsive? Or was it completely unreachable? There is a known issue where the B3 just stops responding, even to the shutdown button:

Hi

Now that I know that FTD doesn't support automatically stop of torrents, I will look into what the real problem is. I will read the thread that you suggested.

Thanks for your help
Jon
