Power button not working

The power button on my new Bubba 2 WIFI 500GB does not work now. It installed just fine and it was working well for a few weeks. I needed to boot from USB to reset the password because I went on vacation and forgot to write down the password . The first few attempts to boot from USB drive I powered it down as in instructions and restarted while holding the power button. All worked as documented, except the USB drive did not have a partition table, so the power light just blinked. I partitioned and formatted the USB drive as FAT32 and extracted the B2 install image. However, after a few tries, the power button stopped responding. Now I cannot power it down by holding with the power button. Also, while I hold the power button down when I reconnect the power cable, the power light simply comes on solid (no blinking). The power light is on solid, but no activity from the system.

Can you suggest ways to resolve the problem?

Sounds like you might have a hardware problem if you did not change anything between it working and failing.
