Hi

I have a problem with my multimedia setup and I am wondering if it could be the B3 that is the problem.

My setup is Netgear CG3100 as a modem/router and Excito B3 as a server and Boxee Box. The B3 is wired to the CG3100 and the Boxee is wired to the CG3100. On the B3 are all of my movies and the Boxee finds them through the SMB and the UPNP protocol. BUT with the SMB protocol all of my movies stops playing on the Boxee after 10 - 20 minutes and with the UPNP protocol I have seen two movies without a problem.

I have posted on other forums which are talking about the Boxee Box and one reply was that maybe it is the B3 that has sleepmode or power down function.

Could this be a problem with the B3?

Put your B3 on a fixed IP address. It could be a DHCP lease expiry issue
