Say you wanted to install another distro on the B3, how would you generally speaking go about it?
My plan so far is to get together a bootable and ssh'able collection of packages in a chroot, make absolutely sure that this /should/ be bootable, copy over the /boot and /lib/modules from the main install to the chroot, tar it all up and replace the payload on the rescue stick with my payload.
This is based on various comments made by tor and others from excito about the nature of the rescue stick and where uboot retrieves the kernel from (not flash, /boot on the hdd), but I haven't seen any guide on this anywhere.
What's the best resource? Is there a "uboot on the b3 for newbies" somewhere?

Other distro install
Re: Other distro install
Hi,
I haven't got any answers to your questions...
All I can say is:
- Use the rescue image and dd to back up your /dev/sda1 to a USB disk before doing anything
- Document your steps
- Post a how-to on the wiki when/if you are successful
Good luck!
