Hi,
I can login with SSH to my Bubba|Two remotely and using Midnight Commander I can create directories there.
I can then move some files to those directories from my remote Computer.
Now, when I try to open in my Web Borowser the ftp address on my remote Computer:
ftp://csanyi-pal.info
and clicking with mouse going to the directory:
ftp://csanyi-pal.info/Tanuloimnak/OktatoAllomanyok/7cb/
and finally clicking on a file, say: TablaKepe_15-16.pdf
I get error message:
550 /Tanuloimnak/OktatoAllomanyok/7cb/TablaKepe_15-16.pdf: Not a directory
instead that that I get the file downloaded to my remote Computer. Why?
I want that that I put some stuff at home to those directories on my Bubba|Two and after that in the School where I'm working, my pupils can to download those stuff to it's computers in the School.
How can I achieve this goal?
Thanks!

Re: Bubba|Two as FTP server
I'm not sure I follow you completely but my best guess is that the access rights to that file are set wrong. Make sure anyone is allowed to access them. You probably do this from within midnight commander.

Thanks! I set in Midnight Commander the permissions of those files to 664, to give read access to others for these files. After that I can open videos or download files to my remote computer from my Bubba|Two.johannes wrote:Make sure anyone is allowed to access them. You probably do this from within midnight commander.
