Multiple file select in file manager

I found this in the release notes ...
"Since we added the possibility to use "ctrl-click" and "shift-click" to select multiple files, .... "

So, I think to upload files in file manager from my hard disk (Suse) I can shift and click to select multiple files. I cannot get it to work, and I want to load about 100 files. I'm using Firefox web browser, is there some setting I need for this to work. A similar approach works with other software such as gFTP.

In the filemanager you can do multiple select... but not in the upload window.
So the manual is correct......
