hi,
currently i have my (w)lan ( http://alonzofretwell.com ) topology configured as Scenario 4.
i am going to add another server to the (w)lan. i just ordered the new ip address.
my question is where should the new server go in the topology for best performance? perhaps i should put a switch between the modem and the b2?

(wireless router)
(wifi computer1), (wifi computer 2), ....
what are the other topologies with this hardware manifest?
please advise.

Re: lan topology
now i am thinking that everything stays the same i just have to make some adjustment to the b2. and the new server (oznola).
(i don't think i need a switch)
so keeping my lan topology as scenario 4 with bubba having a static ip address. i think i should use the wireless network adapter built into oznola. the guys at the lynksys forum said this should work fine. they also said that bubba is what needs to be configured to allow oznola to serve its own web page.
but i think i should make some changes to oznola too like give it a static ip address.
oznola is an ibm t60 laptop i have setup as a ubuntu 9.10 lamp server. i set it up using dhcp over eithernet connected to the router. since then i have installed a desktop and have oznola running great surfing the net over the laptops wireless network adapter but i want to serve another web site from it on my network behind the bubba.
i want to serve http://alonzofretwell.com from bubba and serve http://temporalmills.com from oznola.
what changes should i make to the bubba configuration? (and what should i do to oznola?)
please advise.
i feel i am very close
