I have followed the manual instructions on installation, but have run into a problem.
The LED light is still flashing after 2.5 hours. According to the manual, it should take no more than 20 minutes to complete the installation.
This is a 500 GB version Bubba, and I downloaded the installation image today. I got it only last week, so I hope I haven’t broken anything. Needed to reinstall after accidentally screwing up Apache. Thought I would just start over.
It is not responding to ping and the Web interface does not load. This is the second time I have tried this and encountered the same problem both times. What should I do?
Update: I have tried three methods: 1) copying the .img linked from the above link, 2) download the u-boot.bin and b2-install.zip from somewhere else and unzipped to /install (was default), and finally I tried moving the files from /install to root. Everytime it still hadn’t stopped blinking after 1 h.

Will not install (keeps flashing after 2.5h)
Trying to fix the USB stick
Using Bing I found some old forum topics (don’t show up with forums’s built-in search!) about how the USB stick needs to be set up in a very specific way.
Now I have tried using /Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility.app on my Mac, set to FAT (as it was before) with a Master Boot Record instead of GUID partition table. Will see if it works better this way.
