Is there a utility to monitor the CPU temperature on the Bubba|2?
I will be using this little server remotely from an inconveniently distant
site and since it is not in a tightly controlled environment, I would like to
monitor as much of it's health as possible.

CPU temp monitor
Re: CPU temp monitor
phpsysinfo sounds like its worth checking out as it is extensible and runs over the web
Re: CPU temp monitor
Thanks. I was unaware of that one. However, the backend (or is it the front) isasparak wrote:phpsysinfo sounds like its worth checking out as it is extensible and runs over the web
not my current concern. I would like to know how the temperature is monitored;
is there, for example, a special chip that lm_sensors will read or is there an on-chip
power pc sensor that can be reached with acpi or some such facility? I'll keep
poking around and look at it as a learning experience. This is not an urgent issue
as, currently, I can at least monitor the more critical drive temperature.
cheers,
Rick
Re: CPU temp monitor
Yeah,
Trying to get lm-sensors to work at the moment, but the MB is not supported, so don't see a way to directly monitor the CPU yet. I'll keep plodding away with it. Once I've got that, I'll work on modding phpsysinfo to display the data.

Re: CPU temp monitor
Hi again,
As I posted in your other thread, there is no CPU temp sensor in this CPU.
