Stream via USB

Post by hxa13 »

Hello everyone,
I have a media-player that can play from any external storage via USB connection. I want to stream videos, music, pics from my bubba two to this device unfortunetly when I connect my bubba two to it, it doesn't not recognize it as an external storage. Is there a way to steam media to this device. There is no setting to be set in the media player, it only looks for a storage and plays the contents.

I am new to linux and one of my reason of bying bubba two is to learn linux server how-to. So if there is away, please explain it in details.

thanks in advance

This may be a USB host - client problem. According to your description it seems both the Bubba and your player have their USB-ports configured as USB hosts. USB communication usually takes place between a USB host and a USB client. I don't know if this may be sorted out, perhaps the BUBBA crew can tell you more about this.

Hi,

Martijn is right, this is a USB issue.

Bubba is a USB host to which you can connect USB-devices such as USB-sticks or USB-printers.
There is unfortunatley no possibility to have Bubba acts as a USB device which would be neccessary in this case.
