apache can't access /home/web/java

Hi,
I've upgraded my bubba server to etch. I've updated the system at least once, and installed slimserver (I can't remember what I did first). It's been a few days now that I can't see my downloads. I've restarted the ftd daemon, the apache server, nothing. But in the logs I've found :

Obviously something went wrong, but I can't figure out what exactly. Does anyone could give me a hint on why the java directory disapeared and how I could repair that?
