alternative o/s on bubba

Is it possible to put an alternative o/s on bubba
I am thinking of something like
SME Server 7.2. it is based on CentOS 4.5
sme requires a PCI-based i586 or i686 compatible processor
I note that bubba uses 200 MHz ARM9 CPU
so I am guessing not can anyone enlighten me

Is that OS runs only on i586 and i686, than it is indeed not possible to run it on an ARM.
