Hi All,
After my update to 0.52.2.1 my bubba will not download any torrents. Do I have to open up ports in my firewall? A couple of days ago the ...2.2 was relased and I updated my Bubba with that and it looks that the update worked but still in the web-admin it says ...2.1 and it did not solve my problem with the torrent download.
I can't find any other post on this matter, and I have tyed to open 6890-6999 with out any changes. The http-download works fine since rTorrent loads the torrent file with out any problems (at least what I can see)

maybe not a port issue?
hi all
have I made the wrong conclusion that it is not port related problem? has it to be to the updated firmware? have anybody else got this problem?
I'm thankful for all kind of hints to fix the torrent download.

Port range 10000 to 14000 is the default range that needs to be forwarded to Bubba for downloading torrents.
I had a similar problem in regards to updating my firmware, but I reckon it was due to me not correcting my sources list, before running the update.
I ended up reinstalling bubba from scratch as I wasn't sure what else I could do.

Thank you for your replies!!!
when I looked at the source.list I noticed that somebody as change it...
and not changed it back...
what can I do now? 13.5 in user manual... and there is no way to save the data (with out copy it to another hd)?
I have tied to rebot, forward port 10000-14000, change back the source.list and then update Bubba whit out any luck or improvements on torrent downloads.

I don't think you should have to re-install your bubba, the problem should be possible to solve. Correct the sources.list and do:
apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade
and if it fails, please type the output here and we'll take it from there.
(And GaryL, it isn't neccessary to open any ports for downloading torrents to work, at least not for me. It may have impact on performance though. Anyone who can clarify this?)
