Re: Release notes for BUBBA|TWO 1.2.2
I'm getting the following message when I try to upgrade:
Given that changing the mysql root password is AN ESSENTIAL PART OF SECURITY MANAGEMENT on any system connected to the internat it is VERY disappointing that the install system only works with the default password - which everyone, not only the folks at excito, will know.Failed to access MySQL with default root login, unable to continue with upgrade.

Re: Release notes for BUBBA|TWO 1.2.2
Can you post the part from the syslog when you connect you disk?
If you reconnect it it should be at the end of the log ("Settings->Logs -> syslog") and say something about "/dev/sdb". Post the section around that entry.

Re: Release notes for BUBBA|TWO 1.2.2
This seems odd, can you post the boot-log?
Reboot and the log in as admin, then Settings->Logs and choose syslog.
Post the output from the reboot.

Re: Release notes for BUBBA|TWO 1.2.2
I still have the same problem and due to the fact that everything worked fine before the upgrade with the same external disk, doesn't it mean that a bug must have slipped through? Is there anything else I can investigate? I would really appreciate a solutions soon since I'm using that external disk pretty often.

Re: Release notes for BUBBA|TWO 1.2.2
tip:
the install wants to create a "video" folder in the /home/storage. I had already a video folder
so the bubba userinterface (frontend and diskmanager) would not install.
after the removal of MY video folder the install went OK.

That was really strange; The only thing that want to create an video folder is bubba-backend, and it checks so that there isn't a folder known as video first; Though it only checks for folder, not for any other type of file; could it be you had an symlink there pointing to an dir?pcrene wrote:tip:

Re: Release notes for BUBBA|TWO 1.2.2
Hello Carl,
It happend twice, due to a power failure my disk got a bit damaged, a re-install
repaired that part. The first time i metioned it here and got help to do it using
apt-get. I saw it happen again, thats why i do the updates only with apt-get
The video folder on my B2 was a link to the a video folder on th bugga2 external disk.

Re: Release notes for BUBBA|TWO 1.2.2
Yes, I've identified the problem and had updated the sources now to check for the existance of the directory/file instead of only check if there is an directory there; This fix will be due to next upgrade. (in a couple of weeks).pcrene wrote:Hello Carl,
