1.22+ Mediatomb

Hello All,

Mediatomb does not start anymore after the update to 1.21 or 1.22

Starting gives the next message:
/etc/init.d/mediatomb start Starting upnp media server: mediatomb/etc/init.d/mediatomb: line 86: 26790 Bus error start-stop-daemon --start --quiet --pidfile $PIDFILE --exec $DAEMON -- $DAEMON_ARGS
failed!

Hi pcrene,

This sounds strange. Could you try starting Mediatomb manually once and se if that scheds any light over this.

Do as root

Code: Select all

mediatomb -c /etc/mediatomb/config.xml -u mediatomb -g mediatomb

And note any output.

Hello Tor,

i rebooted B2, after that not much works anymore,
OK= SSH, Samba, cups, firefly
Not OK = Apache2
server7:/home/rene# /etc/init.d/apache2 start
Starting web server (apache2).../etc/init.d/apache2: line 129: /usr/bin/env: Input/output error
failed!

Seems like the ënv command has a problem

Has anyone else experience with this problem or knows how to solve this item.

as i can see, i checked it on my bubba1, does "env" not work anymore.

This all seems very strange. Unfortunately this could be hardware/disk problems. Bus errors should not occur during normal operation . Could you please contact [email protected] We would like to take a look at your logfiles.
