Today i get my Bubba two, but need to know. I have an D-Link-635 and fiber/lan at home. Can i connect the WAN to bubba two and from Bubba two the LAN to WAN on the dlink??? its only a switch on the manual?? Or do i have to connect to some of the 4 lan connections on the dlink?? please help on this. I wanna use all things like webserver and so on, and get files from other locations.

just connect the wan side of bubba to the internet (wan/fiber) and the lan side of bubba to the D-link. Then use the D-link only as switch and/or wireless access point and lat bubba do the dhcp etc.etc.
(this works fine for me.)

Make sure that you have turned off the dhcp server in your dlink and that bubba is connected to internet in the WAN port and that the LAN port of bubba is connected to one of the LAN ports on your dlink. If you have plugged it in the wan port of your dlink the firewall in that will most likely block dhcp-requests.

Ok, it could be that you have connected Bubba to your router before turning dhcp off?
In that case, Bubba is be default configured to look for anohter dhcp server and if it is present use that information.
If this is the case, turn off dhcp in your dlink, reboot bubba. When bubba has rebooted, restart your network on you computer (or just restart your computer) and you should get an IP-address from bubba.

Or maybe I am totally misunderstanding, it is your dlink that you can not access? Everything else works as it should?

Tryed that but not working.

1.First i resetted the Dlink to factory, installed it without be connected with the bubba two. And now i disabled DHCP server. http://192.168.0.1/ worked to connect to DLINKS router configuration after that change.

2. Rebooted bubba two and computer and connected the dlink to bubba two, and direct when i connected the bubba two i cannot access my http://192.168.0.1/ how is the ip to dlink router configuration.

So my question how can i reach the dlink, bubba two somehow blocking me to get access to the dlink, i need help on this i dont really know how to solve this. Is there anyway i can open that ip for router or something? or else i cannot change my WEP KEY and so on =(

Bubba will by default give you an IP address of 192.168.10.x thus reaching anything on anything else than that network is not possible.

Either you will have to change the defult settings of bubba to use the 192.168.0.x network, (ie change the dhcp settings of bubba and the ip-adress of bubba to that range, making sure that you do not choose 192.168.0.1 for bubba since that will collide with your dilink).

Or change the ip-adress of your dlink to be in the range 192.168.10.x, preferably using something in the range of 192.168.10.2 - 192.168.10.49 since bubba does not give out ip-adresses by default in this range.

From windows command line run the command "ipconfig" to see what your IP-address is.

OK i hope i can make an post of an solved problem now :D
Disconnected internet cable and bubba
Then i changed the dlink ip to 192.168.10.91 because my bubba seems to give dhcp ip numbers from 192.168.10.50 - 192.168.10.100. and then the problem was that my computer even after an reboot give me old ip number and when my gf come over here she was mad when she see my sitting and playing with my bubba so i let the computer stay for some hours and wips now the computer have granted an new ip number that was in the range for the dlink. Then everything seems to work exept uploading file with filemanager and get started with the mysql.

THANKS for the great help btw.

maybe i can ask 1 more question using this post, how do you logout and login an new user using file explorer in MS VISTA?? seems that when i log in on my account i dont know how to logout and login as admin without rebooting computer.

Seems like the bubba is slowing down trafic like hell useally before i used it i have speed to 1000kb/s now max 100kb/s when downloading in windows using utorrent.

Can my router be not be right setup or is it bubba how slow down everything.

In my Dlink i have Internet Connection type DHCP to connect to internet. When i tyed to change to static ip before i get problem with the gateway how start with 81.x.x.x.x the dlink wants 3 numbers first and bubbas static ip is starting with 81 at LAN section using static.

Problem for me is that i use my internet all day long so i dont have time with alot of delays, and on this forum the answers take some time. If i dont get it all to work i probably send it back, and buy some easier device.

Bubba should not be the bottleneck in this case, routing of traffic through bubba should be around 100Mb/s.

I am not so familiar with utorrent, but maybe it needs to have some ports opend in order to gain "full speed"?

I do not quite understand your question about your network setup, are you trying to run a static IP on the internet connection?
An IP assigned to you by your ISP by dhcp, does not always have to be the same, and it will most likely differ when assigned to different units, ie it can be 83.227.10.10 for your dlink and 81.128.5.42 for bubba, it depends on how your ISP has set up there dhcp servers.

Ok if i run Bubba as only an server what services will i lost? I have no problem to open port in dlink, but in bubba config i dont understand nothing at all what to write on private ip, private port, public port, source ip.

First when changing port in utorrent to 10000 then it worked i will with no error and anfter i while utorrent says my network is not correct setup, and after i while it says correct and then not correct seems like something is wrong.
