All torrent downloads fail

Post by bolt »

Hi,

I use my Bubba2 as a server in a small home network. When i copy-paste a link to a torrentfile in the downloadmanager it always fails to start and download the file. The error gives a hint: Download failed. couldn't resolve host name.
I wonder what's wrong. any help appreciated.

Can you give an example of a download that doesn't work so we can try?

Thanks,

Strange, that one works fine here. A few things to check:

- is 'Up and Download' checked in the 'services' menu? (Log on as admin to check)
- Does your Bubba has internet connection? How is it connected to the internet, through a router or directly (with the WAN port)?

- up and download is and was selected
- my router connects with internet and has four network ports. Bubba is connected to this router through the LAN port

the problem keeps turning up.

the bubba configuration resets the primary dns ip settings by itself from time to time(to ip 10.0.0.138).

any help appreciated to stop bubba from doing this. thx
