When downloading a torrent using the download manager, what will Bubba identify it self as towards the tracker.
Are you using your own client or some known running under Linux, such as rTorrent or libtorrent?
I have read users manual but it does not go into details.
And in the manual it says one doesn´t have to open any ports. The question then is what port is used in communication towards the bittorrent tracker and if so can the port be changed?
Bubba is built by us. It uses libtorrent to do its torrent work and we use curl to fetch http downloads and we actually do not change the default user agent. (This is actually something we have to change but it has slipped)
Regarding ports etc you can read some about it in this thread
Another bittorrent related question, is it possible to limit the bandwidth for downloads and uploads? And is it possible to limit the numbers of simultaneous downloads.

I'd be interested in an answer to this as well. I'm thinking of getting one of these Bubbas but it will have to have some features that my current torrent software has. Such as the bandwidth throttle and a scheduler to stop it downloading at peek times, my ISP doesn't like me doing that.
Atm the download manager is not capable of throttling or scheduling. This is of course on our todo list to implement. The underlaying libraries support throttling so that implementation wont be far off. But scheduling i can't do any estimates on.
wiggin, what exactly do you mean with limitations of simultaneous downloads? Max concurrent running torrent downloads or max sources to connect to for a specific download?
I've recently purchased a bubba server. The main readon for this was the property outlined in this thread, the ability to run concurrent torrent download s and limit the bandwidth, as I share the internet connection with my flatmate.
I have found the DL limit in the admin settings, however it doesn't limit the amount of bandwidth used by the download manager. If I set the limit to 20 KB/s, a single file will still download at 39 KB/s.
