Dear all
I know there have been other posts on this, but I'm not the most confident command-liner in the world and I could use some help....
I have had my Bubba2 for a couple of weeks now and it does some of the things I want, but DAAP/Firefly just doesn't stick when connected to a client.
I am running two Ubuntu clients (one 8.04, one 8.10) with Banshee 1.4.2 and occasionally Vista with Itunes. When Banshee or Itunes is sat idle the connection simply disappears. It does not always disappear immediately, and seems to last longer with Itunes than Banshee (I haven't timed it) but it always disappears. I have never seen it go down while playing.
When it disappears, browsing to http://admin:excito@bubba.local:3689/ as per the manual, fails, so presumably Firefly has crashed. I can get it back (for a while) by disabling DAAP from the Bubba admin page and then re-enabling, but I'm not going to do that every time I want to listen to a track.
I love the idea of Bubba 2, I just need it to do what it says on the tin.
Any ideas?
