Lost admin password

Trying to log in thru putty, but have lost the pwd.
Can I reset this using the web admin interface?

Also; where is the password file for the "iTunes"-interface, seem to have forgotten that pwd too....

You lost the password, but can login to the web admin interface?
If you have another user and you did not change the root password,
then you can login using putty with that user and do a "su -" to the root user.
Default password is excito i believe.
Then change the password:

passwd admin

With "iTunes"-interface do you mean firefly?
that password is default: excito
it can be found in the file /etc/mt-daapd.conf

Thanks mate, now that I try it I realize what really happened; I don't know which port to connect putty to. (The config file was lost in a PC crash some time back.)

I have tried SSH to
80
8080
443
22

To no avail.

you should be able to connect to your bubba using ssh on port 22

Well, I remember changing the port to something else ("bind" something?), removing the 22 option....

Well 2 options
1. download a port scanner, to check which ports are open on the bubba
2. use the restore image to gain ssh access and find the port or restore whatever needs restoring.
