Hi
Apologies if this is the wrong place to post. I'm very interested in this product. I would like to use if for backups, SVN, serving Django/Python/MySQL developments, printing, and FTP. I believe all of this is possible with the Bubba specs?
I would also like to use it as a media server and link it to my Airport Express. Would this be possible - streaming audio to the Airport from Bubba? Is there a web or another front end where I can control what is being played? If this isn't possible could I run Wine and then install iTunes on Bubba?
Thanks
Ben

Is this setup possible?
Airport express, Django, Python etc.
Hi Ben,
I use one of my Bubbas as a media server with airport express. I keep my iTunes library and mp3s on Bubba and use Macs to play them through my Airport Express (802.11n - draft) into some speakers in the next room (The speakers are in a Loewe TV.). This works well - The audio files appear in the SHARED section of iTunes as a Firefly server.
I purchased Airfoil for Mac ($25.00) http://www.rogueamoeba.com/ and can also stream live internet radio from the BBC through Realplayer - this works well too.
MySQL works, but is not very fast - I use SQLite. Python works well, and I am just starting to experiment with Django. FTP is OK. I don't use the CUPS print server, so I can't comment about that.
Cheers, Tim
