Ive just started to adding ZFS replication support between nas4free boxes.
Ive added also a bandwith limit for the replication ie. replication over WAN and a system that checks differences between zfs snapshots on different machines and determine what kind of snapshot to send full or incremental.
As results are promising, I was wondering if my work can be interesting to the project, and just in case, how to contribute.
Many thanks in advance.

ZFS on B3?
Re: ZFS on B3?
Back to the original topic though, ZFS on Bubba3 would face challenges:
- ZFS ARC is RAM-hungry (deduplication is prohibitive except on the smallest zpools);
- compression, encryption (and to a lesser extent hashing) are CPU-hungry;
- there's not much benefit to ZFS if you don't use ECC RAM
- "single disk ZFS is so pointless it's actually worse than not using ZFS" -- especially if your on-drive cache is not ECC

Thanks for reply
I am using btrfs currently, no issues. Just now I'm copying data between 2 btrfs volumes, one SATA and one USB, with avg speed of 23 MBps.
