Is the box any good to us outside Sweden? Eg would it work with UK on demand services?

not really, no. We focus strictly on making a good user experience for our Swedish customers, so we have not included any other services. THe only thing that you will benefit from is Youtube and DLNA, but that's not much worth alone..

I think there are cheaper options if you just want that (Raspberry Pi for instance).
