Loosing Downloads

Hello everyone:

I seem to have a problem downloading files. When I paste a file path
into the dowload manager it starts normally and finishes normally as long
as I keep my windows xp machine on.

For long files I tried to setup downloads (they start normally) and then
shut down the windows machine. (Power to Bubba never is turned off).

When I re-boot the windows machine and log into Bubba the whole download section is blank ??

Could you please give us some more information about your downloads?
Is it a .torrent, http ... ?
What size is a "long" download?

I am downloading http type files, and by large files I mean
files greater than about 800 MB.
