easyfind settings not saved

Post by arjangoos »

When I try to update the easyfind settings, the settings are not saved. Also a nslookup gives the wrong ip address back. The problems started after the upgrade to 2.6. I hope someone can help me.

You don't get some error message when trying to enable easyfind?

No error message in the gui, and no error messages in /var/log/syslog.

There are no errors when the update button is clicked in the GUI. Also the logfiles show no errors. There is a way to adapt the settings: edit /etc/network/easyfind.conf and /etc/init.d/bubba-easyfind force-reload but the DNS settings in ns1.excito.org and ns2.excito.org are not ajusted.

This sounds strange. If you want us to check it up contact [email protected] (preferrably with login) and we'll investigate.

Ok, this was on our side, the easyfind update feature has been down for about 4 days. It's up again now and appear to be working properly, if you still have problems, please write here or contact us: [email protected].

Note that the .myownbX.com adresses has been working properly, it's the update of new IP's that have been down.

Very sorry for the inconvenience.
