B3 login not working

Recently purchased the B3 and tried to set it up last night.
1. Plugged laptop into LAN port and cable modem into WAN port and plugged in B3
2. Typed in B3 in Chrome and was greeting with the setup wizard
3. Was not able to create a user so I skipped it. everytime I clicked on Create User there was no response
4. Was asked to do a system update and watched everything complete.
5. After system update was complete a message saying the server was unavailable most likely due to the update and that it will retry in 5 seconds.
6. After waiting a few minutes I decided to leave and come back just to give it time to complete. I returned about 30 minutes later and was greeting with the same message ....retry in 5 seconds. So I unplugged the unit, yeah I know not a good thing.
7. I was able to get back into the B3 through Chrome but it shows that I am not logged in so I try to log in with admin/admin and the little log in screen does not close or give me any error message, it just sits there.
8. Tried the USB install and I still have the same issue.

My laptop is running WIndows 7 and my Linux knowledge is very limited but I can get around slowly.

well I fixed the problem. After searching through the forum several times I found a post that recommended that I press F5 to refresh the page after doing the USB reload. After doing so the default login was working and I was able to get in.
