Struggling to setup B3! Can´t create users and can´t update

So i got the B3 yesterday and i am really having a hard time to get this to work properly. I´m not going to use it for anything fancy more then to share and access files and media. Main purpose would be to use it with let´s say a raspberry pi running xbmc to reach my movies.

The problem is that i can´t add users since the whole system freezes. I can´t change admin password or anything like that.

The b3 is running software version 2.3 at the moment and i can´t update in any way. Not through internet nor with a usb stick.

I am new to this kind of storage device so i have very little experience on what to do next.

I remember there were several issues with the B3 when it came out-of-the-box, that all came down to the Time-zone not being set.
If you can log in to the web-interface with the admin user, check under "Settings" -> "Time and Language" and try to change the timezone to your local timezone rather than the default "UTC". Then you might have to restart it (can't remember, it was quite some time ago).

Arvan, I am sorry you are having these problems. I can't say what is wrong, but if you haven't already, please email support@excito.com with your issues and we'll resolve them somehow. If it is a DOA we'll of course replace it without any costs on you.
