Hi,
I’ve problem with my B3…
Yesterday I updated the system via the web-interface (don’t remember the version). During the installation or during restart I accidently removed the power. (I tried to sort all the new power cables for the Christmas tree etc, not that smart, I know). Can’t access web/shh via wifi or via cable.
When I connect the power supply I only get purple light. It has been that for 12h and I’ve tried to restart it. The only thing I care about are my files in my home-folder.
Any suggestion what to do? I’ll probably order a restore-stick but I want to make sure that I don’t delete my files.
Br
Johan

Re: Purple light B3
Sad that you have those problems. Your file system probably needs some love to be able to boot again. You can either do that manually (called "rescue", but requires that you are Linux savvy), or you can reinstall the B3, with or without deleting all your data. All three options can be done with an USB installer, read the instructions here!

Re: Purple light B3
I haven´t been using my B3 very much as i even forget i had one...
Some weeks ago i upgraded it online and after restarting it, first of all i couldn't find the few files i had on it. After restarting it (cable out and back) it flashes purple.
So i thought i´ll flash it with the help of an USB but noooooo success...
So now what ?????
