Easyfind not working

After my IP address changed last night, I noticed this morning that Easyfind had not been updated with the new IP address. I logged onto the web gui and tried unsetting and then resetting Easyfind.

What I found was that when unsetting Easyfind, it wasn't being updated as nslookup still showed it pointing to my previous IP address. Then when trying to reset Easyfind with the same name, it times out.

When trying to set up a different name, I get the following error message:

Code: Select all

Easyfind failed with following error: Name is not valid.
Server responded: Unable to validate from production.
presumably this is because it hasn't been unset so can't then be set to the same name.

Sound like it could be. I'll send the details to support@excito.org.

I only looked in the Support forum not the Announcment one for anything similar.
I will have to widen my search parameters in future.
