Although this is admittedly a serious issue, it should be be noted that samba for the B3 generally faces only inwards. This means potential attackers are only you and your family :)
My guess is that a patch will trickle down from the debian repos and should arrive in due time.

Exactly, I think this is not critical or urgent, but we'll include it as soon as debian lets it through.
