Hi
Some time ago i mounted a wd external hd and copied some files, however it often dismounted itself. I think it had ntfs. But now i tried formatting the disk in the web interface of bubba2, but widows can not read this format when i plug it into my computer. Is there any format that will work well on both systems?

External disk format supported.
Re: External disk format supported.
FAT should be fine. Just keep in mind that this disk format has a file size limit of 4Gb, which can be a problem with large media files and ISO images.

ntfs should work well on B2 at least it should not unmount the disk. My guessing is that there is some other problem and that reformat would not help a bit.
If it is an USB disk which is powered directly from the USB it is most likely not following the USB spec and uses more power that what USB i specified for. There is an old thread about that problem in the forums. This works well in most desktops since they usually can deliver well out of spec but the B2 can not.
