Could you please try to be a bit more tidy in your posts? It will make it easier for others to read them and then hopefully help you.
Never mind, so it is not another process blocking the process as I suspected.

The first couple of errors in the log makes me guess that there are unexpected characters coming in from the HTTP request. Could it be IPv6 128 bit addresses that squeezecenter doesn't expect/understand? Leading to overflow or unexpected results and the rest of the confusing errors? (I'm guessing here!)

I don't know anything about perl, so I will leave this to someone else that might know more.

I will ask this though:
If it used to work, what did you change?

EDIT:
Having looked a bit closer I now see connection problems with the database as well, but I can't tell if they are a symptom or the cause...

I'll try, I've been using SSH for the first time last Sunday. I chose B3 because it had Squeeze server built.

I can confirm that size , permissions and timestamps matches mine (freshly installed now).
I have deliberately sabotaged various files and even the entire HTML directory, but I cannot reproduce the exact same errors...

Yes, I can get it to appear to hang (it is actually delivering a blank page), and I can get this:

I'm sorry, that was a rubbish post.
I did reproduce the problem as described, but only by deleting the whole HTML directory, and then not the exact errors.
I should not get stuck on an error that might be irrelevant.

Perhaps a purge/reinstall is in order? Any second opinions?

Could be a permissions error somewhere up the tree of the HTML folder.
