Is it possible to use a STB to access and play downloaded movies on a exito B3 ?
If so, please recommend one that is capable of that.

B3 and STB
Re: B3 and STB
pretty much every single one of them should work fine. There's reports in this forum of WD TV live, pocorn hour and many more in this forum. In general, any STB thats capable of connecting to a windows, mac or unix network will work with with B3

Will a AC Ryan Playon!HD - Mini work ?
It looks like the AC Ryan units are running linux.
Can anyone confirm that ?

Re: B3 and STB
reading the specs page I'd give it a 99% certainty it will work. It claims to be able to connect to any network, and bubba can deliver almost any form of network. But I do not own this thing so i would not not. Impressive little bugger it is though

Yes it does work. Haven't tried with NFS yet, but Samba is fast enough already.supermagnum wrote:Will a AC Ryan Playon!HD - Mini work ?
