Hi,
I have a Sony blu ray player (BDP-S370) with the USB dongle (UWA-BR100) which connects the player to my home network.
My home network is comprised of: Bubba TWO is directly connected to internet=DHCP server and connects to a wireless N router (D-link, DIR-855) which is in access point mode. Streaming content from internet to the BD player/television works fine, thus no connection problems.
The problem is that I cannot see my music, video's etc on bubba. In fact, no bubba at all! I installed minidlna on bubba according to http://forum.excito.net/viewtopic.php?f ... hilit=dlna but I still cannot see bubba in the configuration of the blu ray player.
Has anyone successfully connected a Sony television/BD player and is able to stream music/video content from bubba using minidlna?
Help is appreciated!

Streaming content from Bubba TWO to Sony television (DLNA)
Re: Streaming content from Bubba TWO to Sony television (DLN
OK, answered my own question. Still not working perfect but at least the BD player is "seeing" the DLNA server.
The issue turned out to be in the /ets/minidlna.conf file. I specified that the server should only serve eth1 (which is my access point connecting the BD player). In the default file this is not specified. killed minidlna, restarted using minidlna -R and that did the job!!
Not all files are playable, jpg images are not viewable (odd
), but still, this is progress!
Still open to suggestions how to ameliorate content viewing!
