Hi,

When I try to browse ftp.se.debian.org there are not any file with the path "http://ftp.se.debian.org/debian/dists/e ... ackages.gz". Instead there are now .../lenny/... instead of .../etch/... Is it okey to update /etc/apt/sources.list or can that operation damage my system in any way?

/Peter

Re: Problem with apt-get
I try to install nfs-kernal-server but no luck.
Maybe due to apt-get proble you describe.
I get:
bubba:/home/christer# apt-get install nfs-kernel-server

Re: Problem with apt-get
run to download new package lists after you have changed your sources list.
nfs-kernel-server should be available then.
Code: Select all
apt-get update
nfs-kernel-server should be available then.
Re: Problem with apt-get
Hi,
Ok, I tried to enable the one found under /etc/apt/sources.list but I get a lot of errors.
I only enable "deb" not "dec-src" if I remember correct that is source if you want to compile yourself.
Guess the sources are not correct, but were can I find the one to use?
My sourcelist looks like below.
I get following output running apt-get update
Any ideas?
Best regards,
/Christer
