Hi there.
I've recently installed Squid on my bubba2.
I now want to restrict access to it.
I know I can do that via squid.conf, but I'd like additional restrictions.
I have this in my hosts.allow:
ALL: 192.168.
And have this in my hosts.deny:
ALL:ALL
However, anyone can still connect to my squid proxy outwith my local network (192.168.x.x).
Any ideas what the problem is?
Many thanks.

/etc/hosts.deny ignored?

Looks like /etc/hosts.deny can't be used with squid.
Unless anyone else has thoughts?
Perhaps I should try using iptables...
