Re: Error downloading
Strange, did it work before? What did you do before it stopped working? Does a re-start of the machine help?

Re: Error downloading
I added maybe 5 files to download with bubbamon, and no a restart will not help.
Re: Error downloading
Very strange. If you remove the torrents you have on queue now, and then restart your machine. Does that help?

Re: Error downloading
i cannot delete them from bubbamon nothings happening from there and when i log in on the bubba i cant see the files i have in download there because i get the error text there.
Re: Error downloading
Good point. If you browse to the /home/<your user>/torrents, do you see the active downloads then? If yes, please remove all of them and reboot your bubba.
I am not sure why this happens, but this is a good idea of resolving it, according to the sw guys here.
Thanks,

Re: Error downloading
I've also experienced a similar problem.
When trying to delete finished torrents from bubbamon (although I don't know if this is due to bubbamon) FTD crashes. A stop/start of FTD from the command line solves the issue. FTD checks through the torrent files in queue, and then resumes downloading or seeding accordingly.
I can't remember the error message at the time, but I'll write it down if it happens again.

Re: Error downloading
I just had the same problem.
It occured while I was adding plenty of downloads for the night. and suddenly the php error came and couldn't do anything.
A restart of the FTD trough SSH got it running again though

Re: Error downloading
I had really the same issue. Sometimes, 3 times per week, this issue comes up. Strange. I had made a new clean install wit the latetest relaes, but didn't solve my problem. Only putty, my good old friend, helps me out: stop and the start ftd...
Re: Error downloading
Got the error message again, remembered to copy it this time. Here's what it says on my B2. Dunno if that helps...

Re: Error downloading
Hi again,
Ok, a re-start of your Bubba should do it. And if not, remove any torrent files in /home/user/torrent and do the restart.
Sorry about this, this is a known issue that is bugging us. We are working on a solution, but it won't make it in the next release though.

Re: Error downloading
A restart of FTD has solved the issue so far. I haven't had to restart the Bubba because of it. When FTD starts again it checks through the files and resumes the download. For me it's not really that big of an issue, but it's good to know Excito is aware of it.johannes wrote: Ok, a re-start of your Bubba should do it. Re: Error downloading
Great, thanks for letting me know.
Of any users that don't have ssh skills need to do this, simply do like this:
- log in as admin
- go to services
- uncheck the "up and downloads" box, press update
- check the "up and downloads" box, press update

Re: Error downloading
I had this error three times the last week - never before. The error happens after downloading a torrent directly into the bubba torrents directory (samba share with smbmount) with firefox. Before last week, I would download torrents and move them to the torrents directory in a second step.
I am using firefox which actually creates two files - the actual file which is created empty and a .partial file in which received file data is accumulated and on completion it is moved to the original file. I do not know how the bubba torrent-download is triggered, but since there might be invalid torrent files and/or more file operations than otherwise - could this be related?
Cheers,
axm
PS: To clarify: obviously I was referring to a different trigger of the symptom described above, I have experienced this error after cancelling downloads as well, but only when removing lots of downloads in a short time, and not in an "always reproducable" fashion. Taking your time (not clicking cancel for different downloads as fast as you could) seems to help a bit (error occurs less often).

Re: Error downloading
I did as mentioned above first up&downloading service unchecked and checked again.
The error messsage was dissapear. But when I click the cancel button in download page. I received the same error message again. Is there a way to kill the process of downloading? can I use telnet to connect to my bubba2? Would it be help if I reset the bubba to clean the downloading process?
