Unfortunately I have the same symptoms as described in the post “Failing B3” and “Failed B3 (another)”. Things like I can't turn it off and it doesn't boot, no access via SSH, etc.) So it looks like a failed HD and that after just one year in use.

Just a final information, after some back and forth I gave up on the B3 set-up according to the instruction in my first post. Too much hassle with connection speed and access as well as some Ubuntu applications had trouble to connect wireless. Somehow the communication between the wireless Router ...

Ok, I changed the password using just letters (before it was a mix of numbers and letters).
Just with one app (called File Expert) I can access my B3 with a fast connection over SFTP.
However, all other apps and connections still don't work and I do not understand why.

yes, I am sure the phone is on wifi. and because one error message says "server auth failure", the firewall could be an issue. but i can't change any settings in the firewall (it's all greyed out) because of the instruction i followed.
