No, this is a feature we have not had before, UPnP sensing of external IP through other routers (since best use case is to use B3 as router, then this is not needed). Feature added from 2.4.
I can't say ETA just yet, at least one month away, but we are working on it.
Ok, great. Just one more ...

Re: Loosing connection from the Internet
This could be due to your ISP changing your external IP. B3 cannot (software 2.3.1.1) detect this through your router. From 2.4 and onwards this will be solved (B3 checking with your router for IP updates).

- use B3 as router instead

Loosing connection from the Internet
In the last days I'm having problems connecting via web to my b3, using the *.myownb3.com url.
When I get home I have to restart b3 to make it work again.
B3 is connected to my ISP router.
I'm not sure if the problem is in b3 or in my ISP router.
Can you recommend me some steps to try and find ...

Re: Reinstall B3 failing
The LVM partition would be a second attached HDD. Do you have one connected? and how do you have this connected?
No. I only have the HDD that came with B3.
From what I saw it has 3 partitions:
/dev/sda1 - for the system install
/dev/sda2 - the LVM for the storage
/dev/sda3 - for the swap

Re: Reinstall B3 failing
Still don't have my B3 working :( I believe the hard drive is dead (?).
The problem seems to be in the lvm partition (/dev/sda2). I manage to boot with a recovery usb stick and remove and recreate the lvm partition. It's when I'm trying to format the partition that the error occurs.

Re: Reinstall bubba
Ok. So did you pull the disk from the B3 case? Or is there any way to connect B3 directly into a computer?hawkman wrote:Hello,
I plugged the disk into my computer (Mac) and created the partitions in disk utility.

Thanks for your help!

Re: Reinstall bubba
Update:
I manually created 3 partitions. Then the install went ok.
If I look at the bubba.cfg, I assume that it is supposed to both partition and format the drive by default.
Maybe it is not working on a disk "out of the box"?
Anyway, now I have a system up and running again, which is nice ...

Reinstall B3 failing
I'm trying to reinstall B3 (after ssh and web access stopped working) and I'm having a lot of trouble.
I followed the instructions on the wiki ( http://wiki.excito.org/wiki/index.php/Rescue_System ) and got all my files out (DO_INSTALL=0).
But when I tried to reinstall the system (DO_INSTALL=1) I ...
