Why I want this is because I want to be able to use nosuid, noexec on tmp and home, for security reasons.

With the scp only you have to create a new chroot enviroment that is different from your normal /home/$user. Ex, you would then have your normal homedir /home/$user and your scp only capable chroot dir /chroot/user.

Great I had actually looked at this :), but I dont think it supports chroot from the users homefolders, you have to create a new chroot home enviroment. And then you would have too enviroments, one in /home/$user and one for example in /chroot/user(for scp and sftp).

According to http://www.partimage.org/Download, it is possible to compile the binary. Would this not make it possible to add this to the bubba mini flash recovery?

Or is it possible to use the mini recovery image and mount a network file system and then use dd to make an image copy of bubbas ...

Making a backup of the bubba server would be a great thing, if it were possible to make an image of it that you can later restore it from.

Could one not use the rescue flash firmware and create(DD image) and send an image to a networked computer(sshfs)?

I would like to uninstall ilohamail since im using squirrelmail instead.
But if I do a regular apt-get remove, then all dependencies(bubba-webadmin interface) gets removed, and I dont want that, just ilohamail to be gone.
