OK, answered my own question. Still not working perfect but at least the BD player is "seeing" the DLNA server.

I have a Sony blu ray player (BDP-S370) with the USB dongle (UWA-BR100) which connects the player to my home network.
My home network is comprised of: Bubba TWO is directly connected to internet=DHCP server and connects to a wireless N router (D-link, DIR-855) which is in access point mode ...

After updating to 2.0, samba did not work either. I used the /etc/init.d/samba restart command and it works again. I have static IP for Bubba, DHCP on for LAN (unlike rancor ), printing is off. WAN is on DHCP.

I am backing up my 152 GB of data on bubba using the backup function in file manager on a external USB HD. I started on the 17th of December and 10 days later it still is going strong, >9000 x 5 MB files amounting to 46 GB.

I had the same issue on windows 7. Turns out you have to use the "net use * /d" command but also close any connection you have with bubba before attempting to use the "net use x: bla bla" command. Even having windows explorer to browse your folders (even when not browsing bubba!) or is ...

Thanks for the tip jonte. The main reason for the external HD now is as a backup medium for my bubba2/bubba storage combination. But when windows 7 is supported by Ext2Fsd, i'll give it a try!

OK solved the issue. Indeed it was NTFS! I reformated (using bubba's format option) and backup has been started... Trivial sometimes...

This error occurs even when I try to copy data from the external HD to bubba. That should work even if the drive is read-only. I'll check the format (but believe it is FAT32) and try other stuff....

I connected a 250 Gb western digital HD tot the USB port of Bubba2. Works fine, after clicking "connect" under disk in administration it nicely shows up in storage/extern/wd.... However, when trying to copy data from this drive to bubba I get an error (see attached image). This message keeps on ...
