Controlling torrents from the command line

As being discussed in another thread , I can no longer control my downloads from the web interface. This means, for example, that I have been seeding some torrents for weeks now, without being able to remove them.

This is a problem for me, as my own transfer speed to the Bubba is quite low now. I ...

If you have the possibility could you look into the ftd config file. /etc/ftd/ftdconfig.ini and make sure there is a line like this dhtsupport=false in the torrent section.

Hi tor!

So, you are saying that DHT support should be deactivated by default? I have not tampered with /etc/ftd/ftdconfig ...

I'm sorry. From my point of view it was a single question:

"I don't have control over the downloads, neither from the web interface nor the command line. Could anyone help me to regain the control?"

The information about the services was not a question, as it lacked a question mark. It was merely ...

Downloads gone from web-admin

This is a question from another thread , that never got answered.

I installed XSP to make some tests, but then I could not access Bubba via HTTP at all. I uninstalled XSP and after some tweaking I got Apache to work again. However, now I cannot access the download service in web-admin. It just says ...

turn it on by editing this file
iface eth0 inet dhcp

Ok, now I edited the file so it looks like this:
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp
I think it will be ok, but I just want to ask before I restart so that I won't be stuck abroad without a working server again ...

Thanks, Clive, for your information about the security. However, the Bubba will still not connect to the Internet, if it cannot do it through the router. (I use the Swedish Bredbandsbolaget, with a dynamic IP address.) The only reason I can think of is that Bubba only accepts IP addresses on the ...

Using Bubba without router + Downloads gone from web-admin

I will be abroad until June 2008, and before departure I bought an expensive NetGear FVG318 router (in order to ensure a safe connection for my Bubba, which is running my mail server for example). However, the router seems to be a real piece of junk, as I think it stopped working the day I left. My ...

But to get further investigating this i think we need to know a bit more on what your network topology looks like. Do you have any routers in between you and Bubba? Any wireless network etc.
I am sorry for the late answer. I have had too much to do recently.

I bought a new router. For some ...

Thank you for your answers, both of you!

I forwarded the wrong ports up until now. It works much better now. I tried to download a couple of random torrents, and they uploaded with a total of about 700kB/s.

After the successful attempt with torrents I stopped seeding and just tried to downloaded ...

Slow file transfer to and from Bubba

I got my Bubba six days ago. It was working fine (but slow) up until yesterday, when I had to restart it.

I main problem is with the speed. The speed of my torrents is about a tenth of what I had expected with regard to my other computers at home. (But with torrents you never know for sure – I ...
