Dear all,

I am trying to automount the usb and do some rsync operations with I plugin the USB HD. I can manually mount the /dev/sda1 device. And..

I installed autofs
Edit /etc/auto.master and uncommented out Edit /etc/auto.misc and added Restarted autofs
lsmod shows autofs
/etc/init.d/autofs status shows ok as well.
But /misc/ doesnt have usbdisk

log/syslog and log/messages show no entry for automount or anything auto.

Any suggestions please?

How to automount USB-disk?

I'm interested in this as well, now i have to go to web gui to mount a usb stick, any one any idea how to auto mouth an usb stick?
