Using a Samsung ML 1510 printer

I had assumed that my USB printer, a Samsung ML 1510, would work with no tweaking required. However I have just read a thread about getting an HP laser printer to work and am now worrying that I will have to do complex things to get my Bubba to print when it arrives.

Am I worrying about nothing?

Hi GettinSadda,

You might possibly get problems with your samsung printer. Its hard to say.

Reading up on this printer at openprinting, http://openprinting.org/show_printer.cg ... ng-ML-1510 gives some indication that there might be problems. This since it uses some proprietary printer language. But then again it might work perfectly since the drivers should be installed on the client side.

(We at Excito can unfortunately not test all avaialble printers and thus cant guarantee that they all work. Most however should)

A good starting point when researching this is to check http://openprinting.org and if that page says that its mostly a paperweight. It wil most likely not work.
